You are invited to join our online community gathering! Community Gatherings are a place of authentic community and learning for adoptive, foster, and kinship families at all stages of the parenting journey.
How do we navigate relationships with our kids’ biological family? It’s a question that all foster and adoptive parents should consider. Nature and nurture play a part in our kid’s development and we need to know how to talk about biological family in a way that is respectful and truthful. Where they come from plays a part in where they are going. Join us this month as we discuss how to navigate relationships with our kids’ biological families. How do we respectfully navigate these relationships in foster care or adoption? How do we help our children navigate the feelings connected to this complex dynamic?
Join us as we dive deep together into this important topic. Come for great teaching addressing all of these things and more followed by discussions with others from your area.
We’ll have the following DFW breakouts:
We also have our ‘e-community’ for those outside of the DFW area that are looking for community!
Training certificates are available for those who need them.
