We are often asked questions about how Tapestry began. Here is a short video that gives you just a bit of the history —

The video was created as part of a church-wide focus called Journey On — a celebration of Irving Bible Church’s 50th anniversary, and a time to highlight some of the amazing things that God has done and what He is yet to do through IBC.

Tapestry is a ministry of IBC and we are so very grateful for a church like IBC that is willing to encourage and support a ministry like ours.

Of course there is more to the history of Tapestry than this video tells.  You can read a bit more about Tapestry and its history here.  But the point is that Tapestry was created because of the needs of adoptive and foster families and it exists to meet those needs in ways that connect, encourage, and equip people for the lifelong journey.
