The 2019 Tapestry Conference will be held October 18-19 at Irving Bible Church. The 13th Annual Tapestry Conference ‘Abounding Love’ will remind you of the abounding, never give up, always enough love that God shows each of us. We will explore ways to take this love and give it back to the children we care for.

We bring together experienced parents and professionals to teach on a wide range of topics relevant to adoptive and foster parents, extended families, counselors, social workers, school teachers, pastors, and other ministry leaders. We strive to support and equip each person who cares for vulnerable children.

This year’s featured speakers are Cindy Lee, Tara Vanderwoude, and Ryan North. Each of these speakers brings a unique voice in the adoption and foster care world. From parent to professional to adoptee, we know that attendees will be blessed by their wisdom, experience, and vulnerability.

In addition to these featured speakers, the 2019 Tapestry Conference brings together an incredible speaking line up of experienced adoptive and foster parents as well as professionals for this two day event. Your days will be filled with a lot of teaching and a little fun!

Friday opens with a general session followed by two workshops. One workshop will be geared towards parents and caregivers with practical strategies for everyday parenting. The other workshop will be geared toward professionals who are working with children and families.

Saturday will kick off with a general session followed by your choice of more than 15 breakout sessions on a variety of topics relevant to parents and professionals. We will end with a final general session that will leave you feeling loved, seen, and equipped for this unique journey of adoption and foster care.
