We know that single parents often face unique issues and challenges as they parent. The same is true for adoptive and foster single parents. Tapestry’s adoptive and foster single parents group is a place for these parents to meet and discuss these issues and challenges, as well as the countless joys they experience along the way.
This group meets on the third Sunday night of each month from 5:00 to 6:15 pm in the Training Room (across from the Tubes play area) at Irving Bible Church. The group is open to all adoptive and foster singles as well as singles who are considering adoption or foster care. Children ages birth through 5th grade can participate in the Sunday evening children’s programs during this time.
The group is led by Jill Silvey, an adoptive mom, and Kathryn Veazey, an adoptive and foster mom. Click here to read about Jill’s heart for this group.
