We are celebrating 10 years of ministry this year with two events both on September 19. We will host a Family Fun Carnival at Irving Bible Church at 10:00 am and we will enjoy dinner together at the Hilton DFW Lakes in Grapevine that evening. Author and speaker Carissa Woodwyk will be our guest. Carissa is a writer, speaker, marriage and family therapist, and advocate for the human heart. In each of these roles, she offers her story and voice in ways that invite people to connect with themselves, with others, and with God. She is co-author of Before You Were Mine: Discovering Your Adopted Child’s Lifestory. She and her husband have two children and live near Grand Rapids, Michigan.
