In collaboration with Back2Back Ministries, Tapestry will be hosting Advanced Trauma Competent Caregiver training for parents and professionals to learn from David and Jayne Schooler (2018 Tapestry Conference keynote speakers) along with Julie Cooper, Back2Back global director, in a 3 day intensive training.
This Biblically based and research supported training has reached over 50 countries. The extended training provided by Advanced Trauma Competent Caregiving is geared toward helping professionals who specialize in trauma care or lead teams of professionals, as well as parents & full-time caregivers of children experiencing the effects of trauma.
A three-day training event, Advanced Trauma Competent Caregiving provides in-depth examination of all nine modules of trauma content – including assessment tools and care strategies for use in the field, real-life case studies, and extended time in small group learning activities.
Back2Back is approved by the National Association of Social Workers to give 16.5 CEU’s for this training. Please bring your license number to training for records. Foster parents will receive 16.5 hours of CE as well. Other disciplines are encouraged to check with your local agency for approval.
The training will be from 9:00AM-4:00PM daily with an hour break for lunch (provided onsite).
Registration includes snacks & lunch each day, a training binder, and materials.
REGISTRATION CLOSES WEDNESDAY, MAY 22.
