Tapestry has two small groups for those who are connected to older child adoption. One group is for parents who have adopted (or are considering adopting) an older child (preschool age and older). The other group is for jr. high and high school students who were adopted, are in foster care or have an adopted of foster sibling.

Both groups meet at the same time (5:00 to 6:15 pm on the fourth Sunday of each month). The parents group is led by two experienced adoptive families, and the group for teenaged kids is led by two professional adoption counselors. Parents are asked to attend the parents group while their kids attend the group for teenaged kids.

Children ages birth through 5th grade can participate in the Sunday evening children’s programs during this time.
