Join us for the next Tapestry event on Saturday, April 12, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, in Room West D at Irving Bible Church, as we host an event for all foster and adoptive parents entitled: Why Did You Do That? Understanding the Minds of Children and Teens and Strategies for Responding to Misbehavior.
If you are a foster or adoptive parent or thinking about becoming one, make plans to join us for this event. The event will be led by Michael & Amy Monroe and will explore new insights about how the developing brains of young children and teens mature and function, and will look at a number of practical tools designed to allow you to respond effectively to conflict and misbehavior.
This event is sure to be helpful for all foster and adoptive parents with children of all ages. There is no cost to attend and training certificates will be available. You do not need to register to attend this event, but childcare registration is required and will end on Wednesday, April 9th, at 6:00 p.m.
Childcare is provided by IBC’s KidZone for ages 0 through 5th grade with online registration at least 72 hours in advance of the event. Space is limited. To register for KidZone click here and sign-in to your existing ibcLink account (or, if you don’t have one, follow the steps to create an account). You will register for the “Tapestry (4/12/14).” If you have any questions about childcare registration or how to use the ibcLink online registration system, contact Michelle Tibbatts (IBC KidZone Director) at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, April 12th as we explore the question Why Did You Do That? For questions or more information contact Amy Monroe at email@example.com.
