The 2014 Tapestry Conference will be held October 24 & 25 at Irving Bible Church. This year’s conference will feature unique content across two full days — and you are invited to attend one or both days. Our theme for this year’s conference is Discipline that Connects and Corrects. Our featured speaker this year will be Tina Payne Bryson, mother, speaker, and co-author of The Whole Brain Child and No-Drama Discipline.
On Friday, October 24th, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Tapestry will host a workshop offering an in-depth and highly practical look at the important topic of discipline, led by Tina Payne Bryson. This workshop will be helpful to parents and professionals alike, and CEUs for counselors and social workers will be offered.
On Friday evening, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, Tapestry will host an event entitled Discipline: The Heart of the Matter.
And on Saturday, October 25th, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Tapestry will host the 2014 Tapestry Adoption & Foster Care Conference, with Tina Payne Bryson as the general session speaker. The 2014 Tapestry Conference will also feature 12 breakout sessions looking at the broader issue of discipline from various angles and perspectives that are relevant to adoptive and foster parents, those considering adoption, adopted persons, professionals, and ministry leaders.
Complete details will be available for the 2014 Tapestry Conference and online registration will open at www.tapestryconference.org on August 15.
