As adoptive, foster, and kinship moms we need a space that is all our own. We need to connect with other moms who understand the challenges of parenting kids who have experienced trauma. We need moms who will encourage us when we feel defeated, and cheer us on to be the best mom we can be.
Tapestry’s Connected Moms is just that place. An authentic community of moms from around the DFW area and virtually around the world. We meet together on a regular basis to talk about the unique challenges and joys that the adoption and foster care journey brings.
Summer 2021 is a time for new connections and renewed hope and joy for moms. We would love for you to join us for our summer Connected Moms book study. We will be reading together through The Power of Showing Up.
For those in the DFW area that want to meet in person, we will meet weekly on Wednesdays (6:30-8:30pm) in Carrollton from June 23rd – July 28th). Most meetings will take place at Bent Tree Bible Church. (We will have alternative locations for June 23rd and July 21st.) Childcare will NOT be available.
We will connect weekly through our Facebook group and monthly via Zoom (Tentative dates/times June 29th & July 27th @7pm central – subject to change based on enrollment).
